Q. Is there a shipping cost?
A. If the supplies are ordered through Tri Medical Rehab Supply and covered under Medicaid OR an Insurance Plan, there is no charge for shipping. If you placed an order via our Online Store – for supplies not covered under your plan – shipping will apply and is calculated on checkout based on the delivery address. Please keep in mind that we can only service: Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland and Indiana.

Q. What happens if I do not get my shipment?
A. If your shipment does not arrive when it is supposed to, or it is damaged in any way, please dial 1-800-541-0734 and talk to a friendly customer service representative. Typically, a new shipment will then be sent out to you immediately.

Q. Do I need a prescription?
A. Yes. Medicaid and Medicaid HMO’s will only cover the products if a physician deems them medically necessary. A physician that writes a prescription for the services has deemed them medically necessary. Some HMO’s require the physician to obtain an authorization, or a referral, in lieu of a prescription.

Q. How often can I get products?
A. Medicaid and Medicaid HMO’s allow you to get products every 30 days.

Q. Why do I get so many papers to sign?
A. HIPAA requires that all providers, including Tri Medical Rehab, notify their patients’ rights in terms of privacy. Medicaid and the Medicaid HMO’s require that the patient signature be on file prior to billing them for the services. Click here to learn more about how we protect your health information.
